My interest in rowing was triggered in 2012 by Vice Olympic Champion Annelies Bredael who came to visit our class and talk about her sports career. I joined TRT Hazewinkel where I trained until 2022. In 2022, I made the switch to the "Gentse Roei- en Sportvereniging vzw" (GRS) to combine my studies with my sporting ambitions. After that, everything happened very fast.
